The symptoms of a traumatic brain injury vary from one person to another, and although some symptoms might resolve completely, others, especially as a result of moderate and severe TBI’s, can result in symptoms that persist, resulting in partial disability, permanent disability or loss of life.

Motor vehicle injuries are the leading cause of traumatic brain injury related deaths and are most prevalent in adults ages 20 to 24 years. Also, motor vehicle injures are the second leading cause and makes up 17% of traumatic brain injuries in the United States.
